At PufCreativ, marketing is a force for good. Brands have the power, and the responsibility, to uplift the communities they touch. For National Recovery Month 2025, we partnered with HoliHub, a Denver-based nonprofit redefining what healing looks like through peer-led recovery and expanded wellness access.
This one hit close to home. Puf’s roots were shaped by personal and familial recovery journeys, and that commitment to purpose still drives everything we do.
HoliHub is a peer-run nonprofit built on one core belief: recovery should be accessible, inclusive, and whole-person focused. That means meeting people where they are, with community and compassion that extend beyond traditional paths.
Their work follows the 8 Tenets of Holistic Health: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relational, environmental, financial, and digital well-being.
By the Numbers
You don’t have to be in recovery to participate. Anyone seeking better coping skills, healthier relationships, or a deeper understanding of holistic wellness is welcome.
HoliHub offers sliding-scale wellness pop-ups, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, naturopathic services, and more. It’s a welcoming space for healing and for healers.
We launched PufCreativ with a clear mission: build creative work that moves culture and uplifts communities. Founder John Shute’s personal ties to recovery and loss led him to the cannabis industry, which makes this campaign a full-circle moment.
HoliHub’s model is bold and future-focused, just like the cannabis industry we work in every day. As HoliHub grows to serve more individuals, including those exploring plant-based recovery pathways, we see a real opportunity to amplify that message and expand access.
The Recovery Month campaign raised $4,000+ for HoliHub and earned major press coverage across cannabis and wellness publications. Every dollar went toward expanding recovery services, building industry partnerships, and promoting inclusive recovery paths.
“Our partnership with PufCreativ represents a vital shift in how we talk about recovery. Recovery is diverse, complex, and deeply personal. Together, we’re opening the door for all voices to be heard, honored, and supported. That is true progress.” — Shimi Mermelstein, Founder & Executive Director, HoliHub
